
Michael A. Sauble, 70, of Marshall, died Saturday, January 22, at his home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 27, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or American Diabetes Association. Born November 7, 1951, in Quincy, IL, he was the son of the late William Sauble and Maureen Dobbins Sauble. He was a 1969 graduate of Marshall High School and received a Bachelor’s degree in education from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. He lived in Marshall most of his life and retired from the Marshall Habilitation Center after many years of service. He enjoyed keeping up on current events, was an avid reader, enjoyed photography, golfing, fishing and eating oysters on the half shell. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals fan.
Survivors include three daughters, Maureen Schupp (Dan) of Columbia, MO, Kara Sauble of Marshall and Natalie Sauble of Jacksonville, FL; one grandson, Sean Sauble Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by four siblings, Mairead Whitney, Bill, Pat and Joe Sauble; and two nephews, Robert Whitney and Joey Sauble.
