An area law-enforcement agency is asking for help from the public in locating a man with an active warrant.

According to the Sedalia Police Department’s Crime Resolution Unit, 24-year-old Emmanuel A. Ward is wanted for probation violation, property damage and failure to appear for driving while revoked and failure to comply as a sex offender. Ward is described as African American and about 5-foot-11 and 215 pounds.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Ward is urged to contact the Sedalia Police Department’s Crime Resolution Unit; or, if outside of Sedalia, contact your local law-enforcement agency. You can remain anonymous.

Authorities say you should not take any police action yourself.
