W. Wayne Brown, 81, of Marshall, MO, died Monday, February 7, at Golden Oaks Assisted Living Facility in rural Marshall.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 11,  at Nelson Cemetery in Nelson, with William W. Harlow officiating. There will be no visitation. Born February 27, 1940, in Blackwater, MO, he was the son of the late Bernis B. Brown and Elsie Kella Brown. He lived in Cooper and Saline counties his entire life and was a 1958 graduate of Nelson High School. He retired from Marshall Habilitation Center where he was a supervisor. He enjoyed the farm, raising cattle and was a Methodist by faith.

Survivors include one son, Marty Brown; of Marshall.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by a son, Michael B. Brown.
