The Smith-Cotton JROTC is scheduled to host its 16th annual drill meet from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 12.

According to the district, 14 schools from Missouri, Kansas and Illinois are scheduled to compete.

There also is a silent auction featuring donations from the community.

The event is free and open to the public, and concessions will be available.
