Are you ready? Are you prepared? What if the worst happens?

The Johnson County Emergency Management Agency is offering its Spring 2022 Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training course next month.

EMA officials say CERT training is a free emergency training program to empower the community to prepare for and overcome the effects of any disaster that can disrupt daily lives. They say you will learn basic skills that can mean the difference between being a victim or a survivor in the next emergency.

This training will teach you how to be prepared for a disaster. You will learn about disaster preparedness, disaster medical operations, search and rescue, fire safety, utility control and much more.

The dates for the training include: 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, Thursday, March 10, Tuesday, March 15 and Thursday, March 17; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 19.

Limited space is available. Register today at https://forms.gle/Ez3HqwLoxppkXZqH8.
