Some trails continue to be closed to certain users at a state park in Johnson County.
According to officials at Knob Noster State Park, due to the wet and freeze/thaw trail conditions, the McAdoo Trail is temporarily closed for equestrian users and Opossum Hollow Trail is closed to bicyclists.
All trails are open to hikers, but officials urge you to be careful of debris and wet or muddy areas of the trails.
Officials say, “We anticipate reopening the trails for normal use- which includes equestrian and bicycling- on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.”
