Beverly Joan Uhrig, age 92, of Marshall, MO, died Sunday, February 13, 2022, at The Living Center in Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with Rev. Dr. Greg Fine officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Carrollton, MO.

Born October 29, 1929, in Linneus, MO, she was the daughter of the late Walter Clyde Anthony and Ada Mae Wilson Anthony. On October 2, 1949, in Linneus, she married Charles Nelson Uhrig who preceded her in death on August 3, 2008. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Higginsville, MO, Order of the Eastern Star Higginsville Chapter No. 477 and The Royal Neighbors of America.

Survivors include three children, Cheryl Kay Rivard of Sebring, FL, Dr. Jack Ray Uhrig (Micki) of Marshall and Dr. Linda Gay Hitchcock (Fred) of San Angelo, TX; three grandchildren, Jacob Charles Uhrig, William Bernard Beachum III and Paul Anthony Beachum; four step-grandchildren, Megan Rivard, Alex Rivard,  Jessica Hitchcock and Joanna Hitchcock; and one nephew, Steve Anthony.

In addition to her parents and husband, Joan was preceded in death by one brother, William Jack Anthony.
