
Margie Roepe, 95, of Concordia, MO, died Sunday, February 20, at Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 25, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Concordia Ambulance District. Born August 29, 1926, in Lafayette County, she was the daughter of the late John H. Bokelman and Emilie Pragman Bokelman. On April 21, 1946, she married Homer G. Roepe who preceded her in death on April 30, 1995. Margie lived in Lafayette County most of her life and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. In addition to being a homemaker for her family, Margie was the bookkeeper for Roepe Construction and had also worked for a time at Holsten’s Store.
Margie is survived by four children: Shirley Rolf (Elton) of Concordia, Ronald Roepe (Kim) of Concordia, Lester Roepe (Nancy) of Concordia and Stanley Roepe (Barb) of Higginsville; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers: Alvin, Henry, Elmer, Herbert and Erwin Bokelman; and three sisters: Anna Meyer, Laura Bredehoeft and Mildred Hein
