The vaccination of Johnson County residents against COVID-19 continues its upward climb at a slow pace.

According to an update from Johnson County Community Health Services, as of Friday, February 11, 34.9 percent of Johnson County was fully vaccinated, and
39.4 percent had initiated the vaccination process. Those numbers had improved to 35.2 and 39.6 percent, respectively, as of Tuesday, February 22.

The total number of tests to date is 80,628 PCR and 68,224 Antigen.

The seven-day positivity rate was down from 19.5 percent to 13.4 percent for PCR tests only. The positivity rate is the percentage of positive cases out of the total number of tests done.
