Authorities in Pettis County have issued a burn ban until further notice.

At approximately 2:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, the Sedalia Fire Department said, “Fire crews are all out working in the county on natural cover fires and a building fire. All departments in the county and city are stretched pretty thin right now.”
