Missouri WIC understands the difficulty in finding an alternative infant formula.

A press release says there are several alternatives accepted with your eWIC card.

If you can’t find Similac Advance, you can purchase several alternatives with your eWIC card:
12.5 oz Enfamil Infant;
12.4 oz Enfamil Reguline;
12.5 oz Parent’s Choice Infant;
12.4 oz Parent’s Choice Advantage; or
12.7 oz Nestle NAN 1 Pro Infant.

If you can’t find Similac Sensitive, you can purchase a couple of others with your eWIC card:
12 oz Parent’s Choice Sensitivity; or
12.4 oz Gerber Good Start SoothePro Advantage.

If you can’t find Similac Total Comfort, you can purchase others with your eWIC card:
12.4 oz Enfamil Gentlease;
12 oz Parent’s Choice Gentle; or
12.7 oz Gerber Good Start Gentle.

If you can’t find Similac for Spit-Up, you can purchase 12.9 oz Enfamil A.R. with your eWIC card.

If you want to change your issued formula type, you need to return it to your local WIC agency.
