
A 25-year-old Marshall man who is charged with felonies for allegedly breaking into a residence and assaulting a woman on January 5, 2021, is due in court.
According to a probable-cause statement, Erik Ivan Aguirre was arrested after Marshall Police officers responded to a call from a juvenile who said a man had entered a home where he had been banned and was assaulting the juvenile’s mother.
Aguirre is charged with felonies for burglary in the first degree and third-degree domestic assault. Aguirre pleaded not guilty to all charges on January 26, 2021. Bond remains at $50,000 cash only.
A counsel-status hearing is scheduled to be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 7, at Saline County Circuit Court.
