Bond has been fixed at six figures for each of two New Jersey residents who have been charged with drug-related felonies after authorities say they located lots of drugs in a vehicle following a traffic stop on I-70 in Saline County on Wednesday, March 2.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, after a canine alerted authorities to the aroma of narcotics, troopers say they located 74 bags of marijuana, 100 THC vape cartridges, one kilogram of heroin and two more bags of marijuana weighing more than 1,000 grams and another bag of marijuana weighing 32 grams. The cumulative weight of marijuana and THC substances was nearly 82 pounds. Arrested were 28-year-old Anthony Joal Baez, of Harrison, and 24-year-old Stanley Anthony Reece II, of Newark.

Court documents say each subject is charged with felonies for trafficking drugs in the first degree, delivery of a controlled substance and delivery of marijuana. Bond for each suspect is set at $150,000 cash only.

An initial hearing for each subject was scheduled to be held on Friday, March 4. No other information is available at this time.
