James Michael “Mick” Figg, age 66, of Marshall, MO, died Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to Malta Bend American Legion Post 558, in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.

Born November 24, 1955, in Chillicothe, MO, he was the son of the late Donald E. Figg and Joyce M. Oden Figg who survives of Marshall.  He was a graduate of Grandview High School, an Eagle Scout and served in the U.S. Air Force for six years. He lived in Marshall the later years of his life and worked for United Refrigeration for 12 years and was recently a truck driver. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and enjoyed crocheting beautiful table cloths, afghans, bedspreads and Christmas ornaments. He also enjoyed collecting baseball cards and playing bingo and loved his dog Jack.

Survivors include his mother, Joyce; one brother, Dennis E. Figg of Jefferson City, MO; one sister, Sara J. Gillilan (Jim) of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews; and bonus father, Frank Williams of Marshall.
