Missouri Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe was the keynote speaker at KMMO’s AG Day Event on Tuesday, March 22.

LT. Governor Kehoe covered several topics, including the effects of the war in Ukraine on agriculture.

A little closer to home, Lt. Governor Kehoe said he thoroughly supports the FFA programs and what they do for students.

Hundreds of area residents and students attended the event at Nick and Elizabeth Thompson’s Grows In Rows Farm, located on Highway 41, just south of Miami, in Saline County.

The speaker lineup also included Cindy Young, Farm Director for the Brownfield Farm Network and Chris Chinn, AG Director for the State of Missouri.

All who attended the gala were treated to lunch being served by the Saline County Cattlemen and Santa Fe Agri Leaders.
