A Fayette woman charged with a drug-related felony and being held without bond is due in court.
A probable-cause statement says on February 1, members of the East Central Drug Task Force, Howard County Sheriff’s Office and Fayette Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on West Davis Street. Authorities say they located multiple drug-related items, including methamphetamine and 32 ounces of liquid that contained methamphetamine.
Court documents say Megan Diane Brand is charged with a felony for delivery of a controlled substance and delivery of 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid and a drug-related misdemeanor.
The court denied a request for bond reduction on February 15. Brand’s next hearing is scheduled to be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, at Howard County Circuit Court.
