A Marshall man has been charged with a felony after a reported incident on April 3.

According to a probable cause statement, the Marshall Police Department received video footage of Tyler Wilson assaulting a man while the man was laying on his back. Wilson is alleged to have punched, hit, and stepped on the victim. Wilson is also said to have used a pillow to strike the victim. Wilson was said to be intoxicated at the time of the incident.

Authorities say the man sustained bruises on his face and stomach, as well as red discoloring on his right wrist.

According to court documents, Wilson is charged with a felony for domestic assault in the second degree. He is being held without bond.

Wilson has a confined-docket hearing scheduled to be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at Saline County Circuit Court.
