The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) reminds drivers that Carroll County Highway 139 is scheduled to close soon between Bosworth and Hale.

A news release says MoDOT contracted with Capital Paving & Construction, LLC, to replace the deck (driving surface) of the Hurricane Creek Bridge.

Crews plan to close the bridge to all traffic at approximately 7 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19. The bridge will remain closed through mid-June 2022. During the closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route.

All work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
