The Missouri FFA Association recognized several students in area chapters during the third and fourth awards sessions of the 94th Missouri FFA Convention in Columbia.

A press release says the third session recognized Honorary State Degree recipients, Building Our American Communities (BOAC) grant recipients, Missouri Agribusiness Academy, chapter charters and Youth in Ag. scholarships. The fourth session recognized State Stars in Agribusiness, Agriscience and Placement and the Star State Farmer.

Stephanie Carpenter, of the Lafayette County Chapter, was an Honorary State Degree recipient.
William Hardin, from Pettis County was also an Honorary State Degree recipient.

Keegan Wayne Brewer, of the Sweet Springs Chapter, was named the Area 6 Star Farmer.
Todd Bartholomew, of the Keytesville Chapter, was named the Area 4 Star in Placement.
Samantha Callahan, of Crest Ridge, was named the Area 7 Star in Placement.
