An area law-enforcement agency is asking for help from the public in locating a man with an active warrant.

According to the Sedalia Police Department’s Crime Resolution Unit, 31-year-old Randee R. Powell is wanted for failure to appear for domestic assault in the second degree, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. Powell is described as African American and about 6-foot tall and 180 pounds.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Powell is urged to contact the Sedalia Police Department’s Crime Resolution Unit; or, if outside of Sedalia, contact your local law-enforcement agency. You can remain anonymous.

Authorities say you should not take any police action yourself.
