
On September 16, 2020, Michael Brown, of Smithton, allegedly ran over his wife with a vehicle and killed her in front of children.
The 35-year-old Brown, who was indicted by a Grand Jury, pleaded not guilty to several felonies, including murder in the first degree. Brown continues to be held without bond.
A pre-trial conference is scheduled to be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 10. A four-day jury trial is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, at Pettis County Circuit Court.
