UPDATE: GARY FLETCHER WAS FOUND DECEASED ACCORDING TO THE SALINE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE.

The Lafayette County and the Saline County sheriff’s office are searching for a missing Waverly man.

A news release from Sheriff Cindi Mullins says the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a male subject identified as Gary Fletcher missing from his home in Waverly on Monday, May 23. Fletcher’s vehicle was subsequently located near the Missouri River in Saline County in the Grand Pass area. Both Lafayette and Saline County sheriff’s offices are continuing to search with assistance from Missouri Conservation agents and members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Fletcher is described as a white male, approximately 5’6”, 200 pounds with salt and pepper hair.
