A Marshall man facing multiple felony charges after he allegedly cut locks on storage units has a court proceeding scheduled.
Marshall Police allege Christopher Peck cut locks and stole items from several storage units at Banks Storage in the 800 block of North Lexington Avenue (U.S. Highway 65) on May 19.
During his interview, authorities say Peck admitted he used bolt cutters to “pop locks” on storage units. Peck said he searched units, but only took items from one unit.
Court documents say Peck is charged with seven counts of a felony for burglary in the second degree and misdemeanors for stealing and property damage. Bond remains $15,000 cash or surety.
Peck was arraigned on May 18. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, at Saline County Circuit Court.
