Union Pacific Railroad is scheduled to make improvements to the rail crossings at the street intersections at North Grand Avenue and North Missouri Avenue in Sedalia.

A news release says the work is scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 20. Trucks routinely using these routes will need to detour to North Ohio Avenue in order to directly access northbound U.S. 65 Highway. Other travelers are also advised to plan alternate routes as the roadways will be closed to all through traffic during the planned construction period.
