Jim Dale Crawford, 88, of Rogersville, MO, formerly of Marshall, died Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Copper Rock Village in Rogersville.

 

Graveside services with military rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall.  There will be no visitation.  Memorials are suggested to Copper Rock Village or Disabled American Veterans in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

 

Born October 17, 1933, he was the son of the late Lorene Crawford Seay.  Jim lived in Saline County most of his life where he worked as a laborer and later as a parts delivery driver.  On July 2, 1955, he married Elaine Perryman who preceded him in death on March 24, 2005.  Jim served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War and was honorably discharged on April 10, 1955.  Jim enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing.

 

Survivors include three children: Velinda Barnes (Kevin) of Shady Dale, GA, Sam Crawford (Lana) of California, MO and Chris Crawford (Melanie) of Rogersville, MO; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

 

In addition to his mother and wife, Jim was preceded in death by one daughter, Voncille Waldron; one brother, Billie Jo “B.J.” Narron; and one sister, Shirley Alspaw.
