The Missouri Department of Transportation has planned general highway maintenance and construction work the in the Northwest Missouri region for the week of August 22-28.

In Carroll County:
-Route V is closed through mid-September for a bridge replacement project at Miami Station Branch Bridge.
-Route 41 is closed for rail maintenance on County Road 270 to County Road 280 from August 22-24. The rail crossing will be closed for 48 hours. Motorists should watch for signs alerting them of the closure and use an alternate route.
-Route W is scheduled to be closed fro, County Road 141 to Route D from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

In Chariton County:
-On U.S. Route 24, a bridge deck replacement project is scheduled at the Palmer Creek Bridge, west of Route MM near Brunswick, through November.

Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work.
