Slater Superintendent Dr. Terry Lorenz gave updates on several district projects during his report at the Slater School Board meeting on Monday, August 23.

Lorenz said he had a pre-construction meeting about replacing the Slater High School roof.

Lorenz expects the company to begin working on the roof in early September.

Lorenz also brought up several other potential projects at Alexander Elementary School and the football, baseball, and softball fields.

Lorenz said he is having a study done on those potential projects and is expecting to have options in about 5-6 weeks.
