A 29-year-old Moberly woman was struck and killed in Cooper County on Friday, September 2.

According to a release from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a motorist struck and killed Belinda Hendricks, who was standing in the roadway.

Hendricks was pronounced dead at the scene by the Cooper County Coroner.

The accident occurred at 5:30 a.m. at mile marker 94.4 on Interstate 70.
