A 26-year-old Sedalia man has been charged with felonies after a drug investigation on September 15.

According to a release from the Sedalia Police Department, members of the Crime Resolution Unit and the Special Response Team responded to a residence to serve a search warrant related to an on-going drug investigation. Upon arrival at the home, officers made contact with Elijah Nash, who was taken into custody without incident.

A detailed search of the residence revealed a significant amount of cocaine, a loaded rifle, a loaded handgun, ecstasy, methamphetamine, marijuana, and additional evidence to indicate drugs were being distributed from the home.

Court documents say Nash is charged two felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance, two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, and a felony for possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $80,000 cash or surety.

Court arrangements are pending at Pettis County Circuit Court.
