
The Missouri Department of Transportation has planned general highway maintenance and construction work the in the Northwest Missouri region for the week of September 19-25.
All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.
In Carroll County:
-U.S. Route 24 is closed for a resurfacing project from U.S> Highway 65 in Carrollton to east of Route 41 through mid-October.
-The ramp from Route 10 to northbound U.S. Highway 24/65, south of Carrollton, is closed for a bridge rehabilitation project through mid-December.
-Route UU is closed for a bridge deck replacement project over Big Creek through December.
-Route YY is scheduled to be closed for a resurfacing project from Route J to Route M from September 19-23.
-Route C is scheduled to be closed for a resurfacing project from Route D to Route Z from September 19-28.
-Route Z is scheduled to be closed for pothole patching from U.S. Highway 65 to Route C, and from Route C to the Carroll County line from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. September 21.
In Chariton County:
-U.S. Route 24 is closed for a bridge deck replacement project at the Palmer Creek Bridge, west of Route MM near Brunswick through November.
-Route 129 is closed for a bridge deck replacement project over the Chariton River, near Salisbury through late November.
-Route TT is closed for a bridge deck replacement at the Turkey Creek Bridge, 1 mile east of Route 139 through late November.
Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work.
