One Salisbury juvenile was seriously injured and three other Salisbury juveniles were moderately injured in a one-vehicle accident on Tuesday, October 11 in Chariton County.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 16-year-old juvenile traveled off the right side of the road and struck an embankment.

A 6-year-old passenger was seriously injured in the accident and was transported by Chariton County Ambulance to Moberly Regional Medical Center. The driver of the vehicle was also transported to Moberly Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries. Two other passengers were also transported by private vehicle to the Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The accident occurred at 3:25 p.m. on Highway 24, east of Salisbury in Chariton County.
