Barbara Lea Jacobi, 98, of Marshall, MO, died Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at The Living Center in Marshall.

Private family graveside services will be held with inurnment in Ridge Park Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Good Shepherd Hospice and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born December 24, 1923, in Chula, MO, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Broyles and Anna Mae McCoy Broyles.  The family moved to Chanute, KS, in 1928, where Barbara graduated from high school, and then attended a year of community college.  On January 19, 1946, she married Cecil Theodore Jacobi Jr. who preceded her in death on March 18, 2006.  Barbara raised her children as well as supporting Cecil’s businesses and political adventures.  As they began to welcome grandchildren and then great-grandchildren they loved being “Granny” and “Pampo.”  Barbara and Cecil enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas where she would always see her lifelong crush, Frank Sinatra.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Marshall.

She is survived by her four children: Virginia Schulte of Marshall, C.T. Jacobi III (Marlys) of Sedalia, Art Jacobi (Ginny) of Marshall and Les Jacobi (Denise) of Marshall; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Thomas.
