The Higginsville Board of Aldermen met on Monday, October 17 and discussed a sewer charge rate increase.

The Board held a public meeting on the rate increase prior to voting on the bill according to City Administrator Jeanette Dobson.

The Board approved the measure. The rate increase will go into effect on December 1, 2022.

Dobson also stated that during the meeting a six month financial report reported that the city was in good financial condition.
