The University of Missouri Extension will host a seminar to update agricultural lenders on four factors that will affect lending decisions and client success in 2023 at the Martin Community Center at 1985 South Odell in Marshall on December 2, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

The seminar will include:

-Commodity Price Outlook.
-Current and proposed government policies.
-International trade.
-Farmland values and rental rates.

Speakers for the seminar include:

-Scott Brown, University of Missouri Agricultural Economist, will discuss livestock and macroeconomic outlook.
-Ben Brown, University of Missouri Agricultural Economist, will provide the latest crop outlook.
-Joe Horner or Ryan Milhollin, University of Missouri Agricultural Economist, will review the 2023 farm enterprise budgets and provide an outlook on input costs.
-Farm Service Agency representatives will provide an agency update.
-A Missouri Agricultural and Small Business Development Authority loan specialist will speak on available programs.

Ag producers are also invited to the seminar. There is a cost of $85.
