A Sedalia man has been charged with several felonies after authorities executed a search warrant in Pettis County.

According to a probable cause statement, members of the Sedalia Police Department’s Special Response Team executed a search warrant regarding a sex/ child pornography crime.

Authorities found Jesse Rubio in the residence, along with a loaded handgun and several other weapons. A detailed search was later conducted by detectives, who found opioids, marijuana, and various drug paraphernalia.

Court documents say Rubio is charged with felonies for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.
