The Marshall Public School District hosted its third community forum in the Great Circle building cafeteria on Wednesday, December 15, 2022.

The forum topics included closing and consolidating Southeast Elementary School, fifth grade trailers at Bueker Middle School, Hoot House and Tudor House as well as purchasing the Great Circle Building and an opportunity for the public to give suggestions for the districts long-range facility plan to Incite Design.

MPS Superintendent Caleb Petet said there was a lot of good discussion at the forum.

Petet says that Incite Design gathered data from the public forums to help the district move forward with a plan.

Petet discussed the possibility of the district hosting a fourth community forum during the daytime hours at Spainhower Primary School. Petet says the board of education will consider several motions during its December board meeting.
