Evergy Missouri West, Inc. has filed a request with the Missouri Public Service Commission to adjust the fuel and purchased power adjustment clause (FAC) charge on bills to electric customers.

Evergy Missouri West has made two filings. In the first case Evergy Missouri West proposes to adjust the FAC to reflect fuel and purchased power costs for the period of June 2022 through November 2022. The second case is
Evergy Missouri West’s true-up filing.

According to the filings, a residential customer using 1,000 kilowatt-hours per month will see the monthly FAC charge increase by approximately $1.10 per month. The proposed change would take effect on March 1, 2023.

Applications to intervene must be filed no later than January 14, 2023, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission at P.O Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-0360 or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System at www.psc.mo.gov
