
The Cooper County Sheriff’s Office arrested a subject after responding to a burglary alarm on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were dispatched to the 17000 block of Tezcuco Court reference an audible burglary alarm. Upon arrival, deputies located areas of forced entry into the residence and found that a sports motorcycle had been stolen. Deputies also located evidence at the scene which provided possible suspect information.
Cooper County Deputies with the assistance of the Boonville Police Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol canvassed the area and located the motorcycle abandoned at a local truck stop.
The canvas continued where the male suspect, identified as 32-year-old Joseph Princivalli, was located at a nearby hotel and detained. During an interview with Princivalli, further probable cause was established and the suspect was arrested and transported to the Cooper County Detention Center and placed on a 24-Hour Hold.
Court documents say Princivalli is charged with tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree, burglary in the second degree, property damage in the first degree, and possession of a controlled substance. Bond has been set at $100,000 cash or surety.
Court arrangements are pending at Cooper County Circuit Court.
