The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC), Saline County Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and the Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) will be hosting a Pond Management Workshop on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Missouri Valley College.

The workshop will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Malcolm Center in the Charles L, Bacon room.

Thew workshop will cover a variety of topics that include pond site selection, pond construction, pond stocking, fisheries management, aquatic vegetation management, pond watershed management and nuisance wildlife. MDC, NRCS and SWCD professionals will give presentation and will be available to answer questions.

The event is free to the public.
