The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Homecoming Committee will be holding two events in its ‘Paint the Town Blue’ 2023 Homecoming celebration the week of February 21-25, 2023.

From 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, SFCC will host an American Red Cross Blood Drive in Thompson Conference Center in the Heckart Center on the Sedalia campus. Students are encouraged to donate from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and community members from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Community donors will receive free admission to SFCC homecoming basketball games on Saturday, February 25, 2023. Individuals wishing to donate can make an appointment by visiting the American Red Cross website at https://www.redcrossblood.org/ or call 800-RED-CROSS. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required to check-in.

The second event will benefit Open Door Pantry in Sedalia, which provides food boxes in its pantry, hot nutritious meals at its soup kitchen and emergency support services. The Homecoming Committee will collect food donations February 21-25 at various locations around campus. Individuals who attend the homecoming basketball games will receive free admission for every two nonperishable food items donated
