The Parents As Teachers program is offering free developmental screenings for children ages three months to five years on Wednesday, March 1 and Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the Loftus Early Childhood Center at 2004 Tiger Pride Boulevard in Sedalia. The screening times are 3:30, 4:45 and 6:00 p.m.

The screenings are by appointment only and eligible children must be residents of Pettis County and not yet in kindergarten. Areas of screening include speech, vision, hearing, language and readiness and motor skills. There will be a health questionnaire. Going through the screenings does not automatically qualify a child for the preschool program.
