The Saline County Commission approved the use of the Saline County Courthouse lawn and circle drive for the annual Marshall Chamber of Commerce Sips and Grins Wine Walk during its meeting on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.

Marshall Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Shelby Vogel gave an update on expected turnout at the annual event.

The chamber will be requesting the use of the streets on the Marshall Square and suspension city ordinances pertaining to drinking in public at the next Marshall City Council meeting.

The event is scheduled to be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

In other news from the meeting, the commission approved the use of the courthouse lawn for the Marshall Public Schools Band Program Ice Cream Social scheduled for Tuesday May, 9, 2023.
