The State Fair Community College Theatre Arts program will present Sloan E. Garner’s adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play “The Tempest” at 7:30 p.m. March 3 and 4; 2 p.m. March 5; 7:30 p.m. March 10 and 11, and 2 p.m. March 12 in Thompson O’Sullivan Studio Theatre (Yeater 126) on the Sedalia campus. A dinner theatre will be held at 6:30 p.m. March 4. Ryan Mahannah, SFCC’s Theatre Arts program coordinator, is the director. This show runs 90 minutes without an intermission and is PG.

Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at sfcctheatre.evenbrite.com or by calling the Box Office at (660) 530-5814 from 2-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. SFCC students and employees may reserve tickets for performances at no-cost in the Box Office. The cost of a dinner theatre ticket for March 4 is $13. Attendees over 60 years may get a free ticket to the 2 p.m. performances on March 5 and 12. Wheelchair seating is available upon request.
