An armed robbery was reported in Marshall on Friday, March 10, 2023.

According to a release from the Marshall Police Department, at approximately 1:20 p.m., the Saline County 911 Center received a phone call from a man who told them his son was robbed at gunpoint. Marshall Police were dispatched to an area of North Miami to investigate.

The 911 Center provided information to officers of a possible suspect vehicle, identified as a silver car. Police searched the area but the vehicle could not be located.

Information provided to officers was that the vehicle approached a young man walking and stopped beside him. A male passenger exited the car, pointed a handgun and demanded money. The young man provided what money he had, the man entered the car and the vehicle departed. The victim described the vehicle as a silver passenger car with tinted back windows.
