Edward Dehn Yeagle, 92, of rural Marshall, MO, died Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at his home.

At Ed’s request, no visitation or service will be held.  A private family burial will be held at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Higginsville.  Memorials are suggested to Fitzgibbon Hospital Community Cancer Center in care of Campbell-Lewis   An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born July 30, 1930, in Marshall, he was the son of the late Matthew Hall Yeagle and Clara Dehn Yeagle.  On September 4, 1958, Edward married Laura Lee Thomas who survives home.  He was a graduate of Marshall High School, studied agriculture at the University of Missouri, served four years in the United States Army, then spent the rest of his life farming.

In addition to his wife, Laura; Edward is survived by their five children: Edward Dehn Yeagle Jr. (Janice) of rural Marshall, Sharon Kay Yeagle of Scottsdale, AZ, Janet Lynne Portwood (Chris) of Fulshear, TX, Thomas Matthew Yeagle of rural Marshall; and Geri Sue Yeagle of Gilliam; five grandchildren: Jessie Yeagle (Christine) of Kansas City, Amy Porter (Alex) of Albrighttsville, PA, Henry Yeagle of Centralia, MO, Lance Portwood (Riley) of Rosenberg, TX and Lauren Portwood of Houston, TX; five great-grandchildren: Rose, Lily, and Daisy Porter of Pennsylvania and Clara and Edward Karl Yeagle of Kansas City; as well as several nieces, nephews, and their families.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Elizabeth Braden and her husband Dave; and two brothers, Matt Yeagle and Jerry Yeagle.
