The Sedalia Police Department is asking for help from the public in locating a subject with an active warrant.

According to the Sedalia Police Department’s Crime Resolution Unit, 30-year-old Brandon Paxton is wanted for failure to appear for possession narcotic equipment, property damage, stealing, and unlawful possession of a firearm. Paxton is six-foot-two and 250 pounds.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Paxton is urged to contact the Sedalia Police Department’s Crime Resolution Unit; or, if outside of Sedalia, contact your local law-enforcement agency. You can remain anonymous.

Authorities say you should not take any police action yourself.
