
The Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Kansas City Royals 6-3 to take three of four in the series.
The Blue Jays wasted no time getting on the board, scoring 2 runs in the first, and a run in each the second, fourth, fifth, and seventh. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Cavan Biggio both homered for Toronto.
Blue Jays starter Kevin Gausman went 6 scoreless innings, giving up 4 hits, and striking out 7. Royals starter Jordan Lyles went 5 1/3, giving up 5 runs, and striking out 9. Bobby Witt Jr. hit his first home run of the season.
