Harold Richard “Buddy” Fletcher, 66, of Waverly, MO, died Monday, April 10, 2023, at Apple Ridge Care Center in Waverly.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Victory Christian Fellowship in Waverly with Pastor Jerry Curry and John Mueller officiating.  Burial will follow in Waverly Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.  Memorials are suggested to Apple Ridge Care Center or Three Rivers Hospice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

 

Born April 4, 1957, in Kenosha, WI, he was the son of the late Harlen D. Fletcher Sr. and Marvis Irene Kindle Fletcher.  Buddy lived in Marshall and Waverly most of his life and was a member of First Assembly of God in Waverly.  He was married to Pamela Mabry, and though they later divorced, they remained close friends.  He then married Connie Martin who survives of Marshall.  Buddy’s career was spent working in various capacities at Apple Ridge Care Center where he built many lifelong friendships.

 

Additional survivors include two sons, Christopher Fletcher (Heidi) of Marshall and Presley Fletcher (Beth) of Columbia; one daughter, Stephanie Fletcher (Rafael) of Marshall; five grandchildren: Rafael Richard Corpeno, Raydon Forest Corpeno, Anton Ramone Corpeno, Elena Jo Martin and Ellias Martin; eight siblings: Ellen Inman of Waverly, Bonnie Webster of Marshall, Harlen Fletcher “Sonny” Jr. of Marshall, Debbie White of Higginsville, Margie Fizer of Tuscumbia, Sheryl Mueller of Waverly, Jimmy Fletcher of St. James and Becky Edde of Malta Bend; two bonus siblings, Alice Campbell and James Shull; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.

 

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Jackie, Mickey and Gary Lee Fletcher.
