
The Texas Rangers walloped the Kansas City Royals 12-3 to sweep the three games series.
The Rangers wasted no time to get on the board, scoring a run in the 1st, and two each in the 2nd and 4th. The Royals made it a two run ballgame after the 6th inning, but the Rangers blew it open with four more runs in the 7th, and three more in the 9th.
Brady Singer picked up the loss, going 5 innings, giving up 5 runs and striking out 3. Rangers starter Martín Pérez went 5 1/3 innings, giving up 3 runs on 8 hits.
Kansas City has lost six straight games.
