A Marshall man has been charged has been charged with felonies after breaking into a residence on April 28, 2023.

According to the Marshall Police Department, witnesses reported that Enrique Glanden was attempting to break into a residence on South Miami Avenue.

An officer was dispatched to the scene, where he made contact with Glanden. The officer called the victim, who said he used to let Glanden stay at the residence, but Glanden does not live there. The victim also did not know that Glanden had broken in.

Glanden reportedly did about $880 of property damage to the victim’s home. Marshall police also located various drugs in Glanden’s backpack.

Court documents say Glanden is charged with felonies for possession of a controlled substance and property damage in the first degree. Bond has been set at $10,000 cash or surety.

A confined docket hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Saline County Circuit Court.
